In collaboration with NYO Boston and the Collective Nigeria Committee, this special evening showcases the strength and unity of our community. Show your Nigerian pride while supporting the Red Sox, as we recognize the West African diaspora's rich history, culture, and contributions.
This year marks the 65th anniversary of Nigeria's independence, celebrating Nigeria's path to freedom on October 1, 1960. Boston is proud to be home to one of the largest Nigerian communities in the U.S., whose contributions span across professions in healthcare, education, business, transportation, and more, helping shape the economic and cultural fabric of our great city.
